All abilities sports associations create a welcoming environment for people of all abilities to join forces and take part in sports activities together. Regardless of one’s abilities, all sports associations are dedicated to fostering inclusivity, understanding, and camaraderie among peers, ensuring that everyone has the chance to play together, compete, and form meaningful friendships.

All Abilities Basketball

Our All Abilities disability supported basketball program is a weekly social group activity for anyone with any disability. Our program is safe, inclusive and supportive to all disabilities whilst players learn how to play basketball, focus on social skills and working in a team. Our Inclusive basketball programs also include Wheelchair Basketball and Walking Basketball too.

walking netball

Walking Netball is a modified version of the traditional game that is fully inclusive allowing anyone to participate regardless of their age, fitness level, ability or previous netball experience. As the name implies, Walking Netball is a slower version of netball performed at a walking pace. Walking Netball has a strong emphasis on getting people to participate in an enjoyable, safe environment rather than focusing on the competitive aspect.

ALL ABILITIES NETBALL

Wyndham Netball Association proudly announces the commencement of our All Abilities Netball for Youth program. This new program will cater for girls and boys aged 10 – 25 y/o with:

  • Intellectual disability
  • Social disability

WALKING FOOTBALL

Walking Football is a modified version of soccer played in a safe, fun, family-friendly environment. The rules include no running, no contact, no ball above waist high and others making this a great game for all regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or ability. It is also great for people with many health conditions including Mental Health, Parkinson’s Disease, heart conditions, Diabetes, Stroke and Dementia plus more. With the rules designed for safety, the game is also great for people with certain disabilities.
