The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare found in its June 2018 report* that more than 1 in 4 (28%) of children and young people aged 5–17 were overweight or obese— indicating that we need to foster a more sports-minded culture that encourages children and young people to be physically active.

WynYouth is a conditioning & instructional program designed especially for young people aged between 14-17 years. Delivered exclusively by WynActive Fitness Coaches, participants will experience this brand new program in an environment which is safe, informative and inclusive. 

The ultimate aim of the WynYouth Fitness & Development Program is to increase the confidence and overall health of young people in the Wyndham community by providing instruction about safe movement patterns and the benefits of correct nutrition and regular exercise. 

Program Length: 6 Weeks (2 x sessions per week)

Session Duration: 1 hour per session

Day/Time: Wednesdays & Fridays at 4pm

Starting Date: TBC

Location: AquaPulse Functional Training Room & AquaPulse Group Fitness Studios

Program Capacity: MAX 14 participants - WynActive Youth Members as well as guests are welcome to take part in the program - CLICK HERE to find out more about WynActive Youth Membership

Registrations: Are open now! A ‘movement screening’ with a Fitness Coach is required prior to payment to ensure the participant can safely complete the program. Feel free to rock up any time and speak to a Fitness Coach or a Services Team Member about completing your movement screening and joining up!
